HACU partners with Google Cloud to offer no-cost AI training to students at HACU-member institutions

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is partnering with Google Cloud to offer the Google Career Launchpad program to help students at HACU-member institutions develop in-demand cloud computing and AI skills

Students prepare for the Google Cloud Generative AI Leader certification through self-paced courses, live virtual instruction, hands-on labs, mentorship and career development resources.

"The Google Career Launchpad program offers students direct access to essential tools and resources needed to thrive in a cloud computing and AI focused workforce," said HACU President and CEO Antonio R. Flores

Students can gain hands-on experience with Google Cloud labs and build the skills many employers are looking for. Students who successfully complete the program will receive a voucher for a certification exam and six months of access to Google Cloud curriculum through Google Skills, offered at no cost.

"By connecting students with opportunities like this program, HACU advances its mission to create pathways that equip them with in-demand skills and training to succeed in the rapidly evolving world of technology," added Flores.
