Hy-Vee Launching New Monthly Event to Support Senior Health and Wellness

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (Sept. 15, 2026) - Hy-Vee stores are introducing Senior Wellness Day, a new monthly event to support local seniors by providing them with important information from Hy-Vee's health and wellness experts.

During each Senior Wellness Day event, Hy-Vee's registered pharmacists and dietitians will provide information about timely health topics including vaccines, staying healthy during the flu season, and enrolling for health insurance. Senior Wellness Day attendees 60 or older can enjoy a $5 Balanced Plate breakfast, free coffee, 10% off vitamins* and more.

Senior Wellness Day is a new way Hy-Vee is making it even easier for customers to stay connected to the latest health and wellness information straight from the retailer's experts.

Hy-Vee's Senior Wellness Day will be held from 7:30-9:30 a.m. on the third Wednesday of every month, starting Sept. 16. Hy-Vee locations that feature both a pharmacy and hot food service will host Senior Wellness Day at the Market Grille inside the store.
