Chinese Ambassador to the Federated States of Micronesia Wu Wei Attends 2026 Chinese Spring Festival Reception

On February 10, 2026, H.E. Wu Wei, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the FSM, attended 2026 Chinese Spring Festival Reception. Overseas Chinese in Pohnpei were cordially invited to the Chinese Embassy to celebrate the upcoming Year of the Horse.

Ambassador Wu Wei warmly welcomed the guests and extended Spring Festival greetings. He highlighted the outcomes of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, outlined the major achievements of Chinese modernization and fruitful outcomes of China-FSM cooperation in various fields in 2025, and encouraged everyone to make new contributions to China's development and the China-FSM friendship. He stressed that the Embassy would, as always, actively practice diplomacy for the people, wholeheartedly protecting the safety and the lawful rights of Chinese citizens and institutions in the FSM, and bringing the motherland's care and warmth to all Chinese in the FSM.

With a joyous and harmonious atmosphere at the event, the guests enjoyed impressive performances. Ambassador Wu Wei distributed Spring Festival Care Package on site, expressing best wishes. All guests stressed that they will continue to play an active role as a bridge and contribute to developing relations between China and the FSM.
