Fire Report
On 08/11/25 at 03:19 a.m., a renter in one of the rooms at the Kula Lodge reported seeing flames coming from the Kula Lodge & Restaurant located at 15200 Haleakala Highway, Kula. Upon police arrival, the Kula Lodge & Restaurant building was observed to be completely engulfed in flames. An immediate evacuation of the property was conducted with all renters being able to leave without incident.
The Fire Department arrived on scene around 03:33 a.m. and was able to gain control of the fire around 05:30 a.m. At this time the cause of the fire is undetermined and is under investigation.
