Citizens National Bank (CNB) is celebrating the retirement of Michelle Miller, Vice President, Residential Banking, whose 23 years of dedication, expertise, and customer-first approach helped shape the banking experience for countless individuals and families in Indian River and surrounding communities.
Michelle has decided to retire and begin an exciting new chapter as she and her husband, Scott, relocate to Colorado to be closer to family. Her last day with CNB will be Thursday, July 30.
Michelle joined CNB in February 2003 as a Teller at the Indian River branch and built an exceptional career through her unwavering commitment to customer service, operational excellence, and community engagement. Throughout her tenure, she held numerous leadership roles, including Branch Operations Supervisor, Assistant Branch Manager, Banking Officer/Branch Manager, Banking Officer-Residential Banker, Assistant Vice President Residential Banker, and most recently, Vice President, Residential Banking.
Over the years, Michelle cultivated deep and lasting relationships with customers throughout the Indian River market and earned the respect and admiration of coworkers across the organization. Her dedication, professionalism, and caring approach have been instrumental to the success of the Indian River branch and have left a lasting impact on both the bank and the community.
"Michelle's 23-year career with CNB is a remarkable example of dedication, leadership, and service," said Matthew Keene, CNB President and CEO. "From her first day as a Teller to her role as Vice President, Residential Banking, Michelle consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to our customers, her coworkers, and the communities we are privileged to serve. Her ability to build meaningful relationships and earn the trust of generations of customers has made an immeasurable impact on our organization. While we will greatly miss her presence and leadership, we are excited for Michelle and Scott as they begin this next chapter in Colorado. On behalf of the entire CNB family, I extend our sincere gratitude for her many contributions and wish them happiness, good health, and countless memorable moments with their family and grandchildren."
As she prepares for retirement, Michelle shared her appreciation for the people and experiences that made her time at CNB so meaningful.
"As I close this chapter after 23 wonderful years at CNB, I do so with a grateful heart," said Michelle Miller. "Beginning as a teller and retiring as Vice President, Residential Banking has been an incredible journey, but the true measure of my career isn't found in titles, loans, or accomplishments - it's found in the relationships I've been fortunate enough to build. To my coworkers, customers, and community: thank you for your trust, friendship, support, and kindness. You made every day meaningful, every challenge manageable, and every success worth celebrating. I will treasure these relationships and memories forever."
To celebrate Michelle's remarkable career, CNB will host an Open House at the Indian River branch on Wednesday, July 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Customers, community members, coworkers, friends, and family are encouraged to join in recognizing Michelle's many years of service and wishing her well in retirement.
