Early morning homicide being investigated by East County Major Crimes Team
Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early in the morning of December 7 in the parking lot of a fueling station.
Officers with Gresham Police Department responded to reports of gunfire and a person down in the area of W. Powell Boulevard and Miller Avenue shortly after 1:00 am. They found one person who was deceased of an apparent gunshot wound.
The East County Major Crimes Team, a multi-agency team comprised of detectives from Gresham Police Department, Multnomah County Sheriff's Office, Oregon State Police, and the Port of Portland Police Department, responded and are investigating the shooting. No further information is available at this time.
