Charge Forward Georgia: A New Gateway to EV Jobs & Training

Collaborative initiative brings together industry leaders, TCSG, and state agencies to fuel workforce growth in Georgia's booming electric vehicle sector

January 28, 2026

For Immediate Release

Atlanta, GA - The electric vehicle (EV) industry is booming in Georgia with major manufacturers like Hyundai, Kia and Rivian establishing and expanding operations across the Peach State. To support this growth, a new resource - Charge Forward Georgia - has launched as a one-stop hub for students, EV jobseekers, and employers.

This initiative is a joint venture between industry partners and multiple state governmental agencies, led by the Technical College System of Georgia's Office of Workforce Development/WorkSource Georgia. The site connects Georgians to well-paying EV jobs in manufacturing, production, engineering, logistics, warehousing, quality control, administrative and maintenance/repair arenas - just to name a few.

"We wanted this site to be a user-friendly way for current and future Georgians and EV employers and their suppliers to find each another," said TCSG Commissioner Greg Dozier. "No matter a jobseeker's education level, there are well-paying career and training opportunities for virtually everyone."

"Charge Forward Georgia helps job seekers see the future of manufacturing and technology, and their place in it." said Chairman of the State Workforce Development Board and President & CEO of Kia Georgia Stuart Countess. "There is opportunity in this industry, and that opportunity is right here in Georgia."

The Charge Forward Georgia website features the latest job listings and salaries, potential career pathways, education and training opportunities in the EV industry from across the state. Direct links take users to upcoming job fairs and other events, as well as labor and wage information and even insights on why Georgia offers both affordability and an unsurpassed quality of life. The website also connects individuals to WorkSource Georgia, who can provide hands-on assistance to job seekers looking to start or advance their career paths in e-mobility.

With more than 30,000 EVs already on Georgia's roads, investment in this industry shows no signs of slowing. And as the top state in which to do business for over a decade, Georgia is well-positioned to lead in the fast-paced e-mobility sector.
