Dechert advised Tenzing, a private equity investor specialising in tech and tech-enabled businesses in the UK and Europe, on its investment in Pimcore, a DACH-based, leading provider of a unified data platform providing customers with full control over their product, client and asset data. Completion of the transaction is subject to antitrust approvals.
Pimcore's AI-native platform consolidates data - such as product, customer and content data - into one, governed source of truth and serves that data to every channel, system and application.
Pimcore was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Salzburg, Austria, with subsidiaries in Germany, the United States and Canada. More than 120,000 installations and over 400 enterprise customers run on Pimcore, ranging from mid-sized companies to Fortune 500 enterprises across manufacturing, retail, wholesale, CPG and media.
The Dechert team that advised Tenzing was led by corporate partner Dominik Stühler together with counsel Tobias Hugo and included associates Philipp Schöfer, Adriana Worms, Alexa Serafin and Georg Littmann (corporate, Munich) as well as partner Clemens York and associates Thirith von Doehren and Arian Birth (antitrust, Brussels).
