For this third round of funding, the Hub received a significant number of applications from across the region, representing a wide spectrum of industries.

"We're not only impressed by the volume of applications but by the depth of passion and creativity our local entrepreneurs bring to the table," Fleser said.

Since its launch, the Hub Direct Program has helped business owners overcome critical barriers, whether that's investing in new equipment, launching innovative programs or reaching new customer markets.

For many recipients, the grant serves as a catalyst for growth, accelerating timelines and unlocking opportunities that would otherwise be delayed.

The businesses selected this round represent a mix of early-stage ventures and established community anchors, united by a shared commitment to Muskegon's economic vitality and quality of life.

From sustainable manufacturing to community health, early education to cultural engagement, the breadth of this round reflects the program's vision for an inclusive, integrated entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Each recipient not only receives financial assistance but also gains access to the Hub's resources, mentorship and a network of supportive peers.

"Supporting these entrepreneurs is about more than writing a check - it's about walking alongside them as they grow," Ricco said. "We want them to know they're part of a community that believes in their vision."
