BlueCross is helping Tennesseans stay ahead of the 2025 flu season with four Saturday drive-through vaccine clinics at locations across the state throughout the month of September.
Clinics are open to the public, and at each location, flu vaccines will be available for people ages 8 and up from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. BlueCross members or others with health insurance must bring their insurance card to receive the flu vaccine as part of their coverage. Vaccines will also be available for self-paying customers.
Vaccines will be available as follows:
"Getting your flu shot is a proven way to help stay healthy during flu season," said Dr. Andrea Willis, senior vice president and chief medical officer at BlueCross. "We encourage Tennesseans to get vaccinated-not just for their own protection, but to help shield those around them who may be more vulnerable to serious flu complications."
The flu vaccine takes about two weeks to reach its maximum effectiveness, so BlueCross recommends members get vaccinated before peak flu season begins.
