BTS Group Joins Charity Concert “Power of Thai: Ruam Namjai Year 15” to Support Schools Affected by Unrest and Natural Disasters

On 28 September 2025, Ms. Narissara Srisunt Advisor to BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited (BTS Group), represented the company at the special charity concert "Power of Thai: Ruam Namjai Year 15" under the theme "Bringing Smiles Back to Schools". The event was held at the SX Grand Plenary Hall, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), as part of the Sustainability Expo (2025) and was organised by the Power of Thai Foundation.

The concert aimed to raise funds to support and restore schools affected by unrest and natural disasters in border areas, providing encouragement and opportunities for students. Earlier this year, on 19 September 2025, the Power of Thai Foundation team visited Ban Pang Ha School in Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province, to deliver aid and moral support to teachers and students, who warmly welcomed the team.

The charity concert featured performance by a lineup of renowned Thai artists, including Modern Dog, Lipta, Urboy TJ, Jaonaay & JaoKhun, Alala, Pear Chana, New Country, Gokie Kawisara, Better Weather, The Parkinson, and Chaladeen. All artists joined forces voluntarily, regardless of label or affiliation, to create a meaningful and inspiring musical experience aimed to empowering and uplifting the next generation.

The "Power of Thai" initiative was established through the collaboration of 12 leading private organisations in Thailand, namely BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited, Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited (AIS), Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited, Central Group, GMM Grammy Public Company Limited, I.C.C. International Public Company Limited, Major Cineplex Group Public Company Limited, Mitr Phol Group, Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Company Limited, Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, True Corporation Public Company Limited, and Thai Union Group Public Company Limited.

Since its inception during the historic floods in 2011, the Power of Thai initiative has continued to embody the spirit of unity and compassion, fostering long-term social support and sustainable development throughout Thailand.
