Elementary Schools are Invited to Decorate the Ferry for the Holidays

Attention Bay Area pre-K to 3rd Grade Elementary School Teachers!

From December 1 - December 12, 2025, bring your pre-K to third grade class for a fun-filled, (and free!), field trip on board Golden Gate Ferry.

Here's How it Works:

Step 1.Review our schedules to select the day and trip that works best for you within that date range (12/1-12/12). Golden Gate Ferry operates service between San Francisco and Angel Island, Larkspur, Sausalito, and Tiburon.

Step 2: You must register your trip two weeks in advance but space is limited!

Step 3: We recommend one chaperone per 10 children for this event.

Step 4: This field trip is limited to pre-K to third grade classes.

Step 5: Please bring pre-made decorations to the field trip! Decorations for the ferry must be pre-made and will be hung as the boat is crossing the Bay.
