Work release escape of Tyler Maifeld

WATERLOO, Iowa - Tyler Patrick Maifeld, convicted of Robbery 2nd Degree in Black Hawk County, failed to report back to the Waterloo Residential Correctional Facility as required yesterday.

Maifeld is a 25-year old, 5'0", 191-pound White male of Hispanic origin. He was admitted to the work release facility on Sept. 6, 2024.

Persons with information on Maifeld's whereabouts should contact local police.
