The City's 6th annual Climate Fest is coming your way with six days of events Sept. 19 through 25, 2025! The annual event is a celebration of the many ways our community takes action to address climate change with a series of free, family-friendly events.
Festival favorites like the Drive Electric Car Show at the Iowa City Farmers Market on Sept. 20. are back, along with exciting new events, cohosts, and locations, including:
This year, there will also be a special gift for anyone who attends by riding a bike, walking, by bus, or by EV! Attendees can let a Climate Action and Outreach staff member know at any event if you walked, rolled, or rode there using one of these transportation modes to collect their gift.
A complete schedule of the daily activities can be found on the event webpage, icgov.org/ClimateFest. Throughout the festival, stories and activities will also be shared on City social media accounts: Facebook, Nextdoor, Instagram.
