Upcoming Council Budget Meetings

At the May 12, 2026, City Council Meeting, City staff will present the Fiscal Year 2026/27 Proposed Operating Budget to the Fremont City Council. This will be followed by public hearings and budget adoption by the Council on June 2 and June 9.

The City's proposed operating budget will provide an action plan for the upcoming fiscal year (July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027) that reflects resource allocations consistent with City policies, goals, and priorities.

The budget meetings are part of the regularly scheduled City Council meetings and will begin at 7:00 pm. Meetings will be televised on the local cable access channel (Channel 27), streamed online, or available to attend in person at City Hall, located at 3300 Capitol Ave. The City Council Agenda will be published on the Friday before the scheduled meeting.
