NASA's SpaceX Crew-12 Undocks in Dragon for Ride Home

Oct. 7, 2026: International Space Station Configuration. Five spaceships are attached to the space station including the SpaceX Crew-13 Dragon, Northrop Grumman's Cygnus XL, the Soyuz MS-29 crew spacecraft, and the Progress 95 and 96 resupply ships.

At 8:05 a.m. EDT, NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Sophie Adenot, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev undocked from the space-facing port of the International Space Station's Harmony module aboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft.

NASA's return coverage continues with real-time audio-only, and full coverage will resume at the start of the splashdown broadcast. The audio feed includes astronaut conversations with mission control and live external video from the orbiting laboratory.

NASA's Crew-12 live return coverage will resume at 10:20 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, and continue through splashdown at approximately 11:34 a.m. off the California coast, followed by crew recovery. Learn where to watch:
