Aligning Serbia with European standards in field of visa policy, citizenship

Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starović received today Deputy Director-General of the Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs at the European Commission (DG HOME) Olivier Onidi.

During the meeting, key topics from the scope of work of DG HOME were discussed, including migration, security, border management, as well as Serbia's alignment with European standards in the field of visa policy and citizenship.

Special attention was paid to Serbia's cooperation with the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX), which represents one of the most important segments of practical cooperation between Serbia and the EU in the field of home affairs, according to a statement from the Ministry of European Integration.
