Pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine services now offered at Folsom Turn Pike Clinic

Pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine services are now offered at the Folsom Turn Pike Specialty Care Clinic.

UC Davis pediatric pulmonologists Kiran Nandalike, Divya Chhabra and Gage Alvernaz, provide services on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is an expansion of pediatric pulmonary services available at the Glassrock Clinic in Sacramento.

"We are so pleased to be able to bring our care closer to home for pediatric patients in the Folsom area," said Nandalike, who is chief of pediatric pulmonology at UC Davis Health.

At the Folsom Turn Pike Clinic, the pediatric pulmonology team offers comprehensive clinical consultations for a wide variety of respiratory and sleep conditions including asthma, congenital lung diseases and respiratory conditions (related to prematurity). The team also treats neuromuscular weakness, bronchiectasis and sleep problems such as sleep apnea and insomnia. The clinic offers spirometry, exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) and complete lung function tests, too.

U.S. News & World Report ranked UC Davis Children's Hospital among the nation's best for 2025-26 in pediatric pulmonology and lung surgery. The ranking is a distinction given to only the top children's hospitals in the United States.
