Throughout this Congress, Chair Ernst plans to recognize a small business in every one of Iowa's 99 counties.
RED OAK, Iowa - U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Chair of the Senate Small Business Committee, today announced her Small Business of the Week: Bannor Toys of Boone County. Throughout the 119th Congress, Chair Ernst plans torecognize a small business in each of Iowa's 99 counties.
"Since 2011, Bannor Toys has been filling toy boxes all over the country with their modern take on nostalgic wooden toys," said Chair Ernst. "From rattles that shake things up to blocks that help children stack up skills, their toys represent high quality American-made craftsmanship rooted in tradition."
Stacey and Jesse Bannor founded Bannor Toys in 2011 after becoming frustrated with low quality, overly complicated children's toys. What began as a personal mission and hobby has since grown into a nationally recognized small business, offering high quality, modern toys that the Bannors once enjoyed themselves in their grandparents' homes. In 2019, Bannor Toys was honored at the White House Made in America Showcase and continue to make toys that bring families together.
Stay tuned as Chair Ernst continues to recognize outstanding Iowa small businesses with her Small Business of the Week award.
