First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus S.Lukashevich meets Ambassador of Thailand

On 1 July 2026, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergey Lukashevich, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus concurrently accredited, Sasiwat Wongsinsawat, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission.

The parties discussed current issues in Belarusian-Thai relations, and highlighted key achievements of the joint work, including the first official visit by the Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs to Thailand in July 2025 and the signing of an intergovernmental memorandum on the establishment of the Joint Belarusian-Thai Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

The two sides welcomed the launch of direct flights between the two countries in early 2026.

The parties reaffirmed both countries' commitment to continuing work on developing the full range of fruitful and mutually beneficial relations.
