FATAL VEHICLE COLLISION
SUNNYVALE, Calif. - On Saturday, January 18, 2025 at about 6 p.m., Sunnyvale DPS Patrol and Fire personnel responded to the area of N. Fair Oaks Ave and Columbia Ave on a report of a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. When emergency personnel arrived on scene, they found the pedestrian suffering from major injuries. The pedestrian was transported to a local area hospital but unfortunately did not survive his injuries.
The collision remains under investigation by the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT). Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact MAIT Investigator D. Larks at (408) 730-7110.
