Update: Columbia Police respond to shots fired on Alan Lane

(COLUMBIA, MO)-

At about 7:10 p.m. on Jan. 29, Columbia Police responded to a shots-fired call at the 4500 block of Alan Lane.

While enroute officers located a victim with minor injuries in the 3900 block of Clark Lane. Officers continued to investigate and found a second victim with life-threatening injuries at the 1700 block of North Ballenger Lane. Both victims were transported to a local hospital and are both in stable condition.

Officers arrested Ammanuel A. Minuye, 23, of Columbia on charges of assault in the first-degree, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.

The Columbia Police Department would like to thank all other agencies that assisted during this incident.
