Open Call: Become a speaker at the EULiST Global Conference 2025 in Madrid!

From 20 to 21 November, the first EULiST Global Conference 2025 will be held in Madrid on the topic of 'Co-creating Sustainable Solutions for Climate Resilience'.

This conference provides a platform to discuss innovative and sustainable solutions to key global challenges

(more information at https://www.eulistglobalconference.com/).

We are pleased to invite you to participate as a speaker in one of the parallel sessions of the conference!

Take this opportunity to share and discuss your insights and experiences with a wide audience and hear exciting contributions from other participants.

Six people from LUH can participate, with one to two people nominated for each session. Speakers will be selected by a committee for each session.

Session 1: Knowledge Through Research

•TOPIC 1: RESEARCH - Sustainable solutions to climate change

•TOPIC 2: EDUCATION - Novel educational approaches for sustainable solutions

•TOPIC 3: CONNECTING EDUCATION AND RESEARCH in climate resilience

Session 2: Industrial partners as vectors of transformation

•TOPIC 1: Importance of Academia-Corporate Partnerships

•TOPIC 2: Contributions of the EULiST Network

Session 3: Cities adaptation - Urban Resilience and Climate Neutrality

•TOPIC 1: Adaptive buildings and infrastructures

•TOPIC 2: Urban circularity and transformation: Re-use, circular processes, transformative governance

•TOPIC 3: Digitalisation and AI for urban change: Responsive solutions for smart climate cities

•TOPIC 4: The societal dimension of urban transformation: Ensuring sustainable and inclusive communities

Session 4: Information and society

•TOPIC 1: Building knowledge in collaborations between academia and industry for sustainable development

•TOPIC 2: Building knowledge for sustainable practices in collaborations between universities, funding agencies and NGOs within and beyond the EU
