Mariposa County

One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Mariposa County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route-49 (SR-49) and SR-140 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control from Brooks Road to Boyer Road for shoulder work on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

State Route 140

  • One-way traffic control at Fourth Street for sign/banner work on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Smith Road to Slaughterhouse Road for shoulder work on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from beginning of the passing lane in Catheys Valley to State Route 49 North for pavement work beginning Sunday, October 6, through Monday, October 7, from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and Tuesday, October 8, through Friday, October 11, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
