Adoptable Pet of the Week: Tobias

Tobias is a tall, handsome 1-year-old pup who is ready to meet his forever family. Found as a stray roaming the streets of Fort Worth, he has quickly shown why he's a special shepherd dog.

Friendly and social, Tobias truly shines in play groups with other dogs. He has a medium-plus energy level, enjoys playful sprints in the yard and never says no to a game of fetch. At the same time, he's calm in his kennel, easy to leash and a dream to walk. He's mastered his sit command and is highly treat motivated, making training both fun and rewarding.

Tobias has a gentle temperament, showing no reactivity when walking past other kennels and happily greeting new volunteers. With his happy smile and long legs that "go on for days," it's easy to see why everyone falls in love with him.

His ideal home would be one with a yard or an active family who can keep up with his playful spirit and give him plenty of love. Tobias has already stolen hearts at the FWACC shelter - now he just needs the chance to win over yours.

Pupdate: Delilah has a home!

We have great news to share: Delilah, last week's featured adoptable pet, found her forever family at last weekend's MEGA Adoption Event!

Delilah was surrendered to the shelter in early June and, despite her sweet nature, had been repeatedly overlooked. She was even placed on the Urgent Placement Pet list as staff worked to find her a permanent home.

We hope Delilah's success story is the first of many more to come!
