Seawolf Hall of Fame nomination deadline extended

Anchorage (March 26) - University of Alaska Anchorage Athletics is extending its deadline for Seawolf Hall of Fame nominations to April 30, acting athletic director Tanya Pont announced Thursday.

Nominations for the Class of 2027 can be submitted online at GoSeawolves.com/shof-nominate in the following categories - student-athletes, coaches, administrators, supporters, and teams. For the current induction cycle, student-athletes and teams must have finished their last date of competition by June 30, 2016, while coaches, faculty or staff members must have completed their UAA tenure by June 30, 2021. Supporters are eligible at any time.

Established in 2001, the Seawolf Hall of Fame currently features 56 inductees - 38 student-athletes, six coaches and 12 former administrators and supporters.
