On 10 March 2026, H.E. Mme. Ambassador Jiang Xiaoyan visited Kočani and met with Mayor Grozdanov. They exchanged views on deepening cooperation in green energy, agriculture and rural development, and training.

Ambassador Jiang expounded on China's ongoing Two Sessions, President Xi Jinping joining members of the Jiangsu delegation in the deliberations of state affairs at the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress. She noted that China remains committed to improving the people's well-being through hard work. Economically developed provinces including Jiangsu are focusing on advancing high-quality development while actively exploring effective pathways toward shared prosperity so as to reach the expectations of the Chinese people.
