Advancing Interprofessional Education: Looking Ahead to the Future

June 25, 2026

Registration is now open for the third Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) Symposium, taking place virtually on February 10, 2027. This engaging event will bring together educators, practitioners, learners, and leaders from across the health professions to explore the future of interprofessional education and collaborative practice. Designed to foster learning, connection, and innovation, the symposium will feature expert speakers, interactive discussions, and practical strategies for advancing interprofessional education in academic and practice settings.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage with national leaders who are helping shape the future of collaborative practice, workforce development, and health professions education. Sessions will explore a range of timely topics, including artificial intelligence in education, competency-based learning, curriculum innovation, assessment, leadership development, and co-creation with patients and communities. Attendees will also participate in interactive Collaboration Hubs focused on translating the IPEC Core Competencies into actionable approaches that can be implemented across institutions and disciplines.

As a founding member of IPEC, ASPPH is proud to support efforts that strengthen collaboration across the health professions and prepare future practitioners to work effectively in team-based environments.

Early bird registration is available through December 11, offering participants the lowest registration rates. IPEC members can save up to $70, and all registrants will receive 12 months of on-demand access to symposium content following the event.
