We were thrilled to celebrate the opening of Nippon Express' new 16,926 sqm purpose-built facility at The YARDS in Kemps Creek last week. A huge milestone for the estate and an exciting step forward for one of the world's leading logistics and supply chain operators.
The timing couldn't have been more special, with the event aligning with Nippon Express' 40th anniversary in Australia. Satoshi Horikiri, Global President of Nippon Express Group, joined the celebrations, which recognised the company's incredible growth journey across the Asia-Pacific region.
Nippon Express has signed a seven-year lease for the new warehouse and office facility, marking a significant expansion from its previous site and reinforcing its commitment to strengthening operations in Australia.
We were proud to host teams from Nippon Express, Barings and Aware Real Estate, beginning the occasion with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony led by Uncle Graham Davis King of the Deerubbin Local Aboriginal Land Council.
Built by CIP Constructions, the facility spans 16,476 sqm and is designed and built to target a 6 Star Green Star Design and As-Built rating.
