Governor Ayotte Statement on the Passing of Jack Middleton

CONCORD, NH - Today, Governor Kelly Ayotte released the following statement on the passing of former New Hampshire District Court Judge Jack Middleton:

"With Jack Middleton's passing yesterday, New Hampshire has lost a great man and an icon in the legal field. Jack practiced law for 70 years, was a litigation expert, President of the New Hampshire Bar Association, a New Hampshire District Court Judge, and a foundational partner at McLane Middleton, where I started my legal career."

"From his time working up at the Mount Washington Observatory to traveling the globe, Jack was an adventurer. To me, he was also a role model and mentor who knew that attorneys had to give good legal advice but also had to use good judgment. I am thankful for Jack's impact on my career and for his decades of friendship. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Middleton family and the McLane Middleton law firm."
