Temporary lane closures on Lindsey between Pickard and Elm beginning October 27

A contractor for the City of Norman will carry out utility survey work on Lindsey Street between Pickard Avenue and Elm Avenue on 10/27/25 that will result in intermittent, temporary lane closures in the area for three days. Motorists should adhere to all traffic control measures in place and drive with caution in the area. Alternate routes are advised.
To minimize disruptions, work will be carried out in small sections, one block at a time, until completed.
Access to properties within affected extents will be maintained for the duration of the utility location, except during brief periods of direct conflict.
This work is part of the voter-approved Lindsey Street improvement work, a 2019 Bond Project for the City of Norman.
