Get ready for a fang-tastic time at the 2024 Transportation and Treats event!


Raleigh Transportation is thrilled to invite families, children, and all Halloween enthusiasts to a fun-filled evening of transportation discovery and Halloween excitement! This is unique opportunity to mix and mingle with neighbors, enjoy Halloween festivities and get up close and personal with the Raleigh Department of Transportation.

Costume Up and Meet City Staff

Grab your Halloween costume and join us for an exciting opportunity to meet Raleigh's Transportation staff. Residents are encouraged to bring their questions about ongoing and upcoming transportation projects to the event. Staff will be on hand to provide information, answer questions, and discuss the impact of these projects on the community.

Whether you're curious about road improvements, bike lanes, or pedestrian safety, this is your chance to get informed and involved!

  • Transportation Updates: Chat with staff about how transportation projects impact your neighborhood and the future of Raleigh's transportation.
  • Kid's Fun: Delight in face painting, games, and a chance to go for a spin on a Cardinal Bikeshare bike!
  • E-scooter Fun: Try out an e-scooter and learn important safety tips.
  • Electric Bus Tour: Explore our electric GoRaleigh bus.
  • Robotic Wonders: Visit our robotic sewer inspection camera and stormwater truck.
  • Employment Info: Learn about career opportunities in transportation.
  • Refreshments: Enjoy light refreshments and sweet treats.
  • Grand Prize: Enter for a chance to win a grand prize! And the first 30 attendees will receive a Transportation and Treats scratch-off card!
