Storm Alert – Winter Storm Hernando – February 25, 2026

Fuel markets are rebounding rapidly following this week's heavy snowstorm. Despite heavy snow this week, active snowfall today, and more snow predicted this weekend, delivery partners and fleets are quickly springing to action. At this time, Mansfield is moving to normal delivery procedures in all Northeastern markets.

For locations ordering fuel, remember to:

  • Ensure tanks are accessible and clear of snow and ice.
  • Communicate any changes in fuel delivery needs to your Mansfield representative.
  • Note if any equipment is currently impacted by power outages.

Although Hernando's impact proved short-lived, northern markets are not in the clear yet. Another winter storm is expected to sweep across the country, starting near Kansas / Missouri and continuing eastward up into New England.

Different models produce conflicting forecasts, with some indicating heavy snowfall from St. Louis to Pennsylvania, while others show a more moderate system overall. Mansfield will continue monitoring the system and will provide updates if there are any material impacts on fuel markets.
