The Security For the Folks Cybersecurity Community, in partnership with Marquette's Center for Cyber Security Awareness and Cyber Defense, will host the inaugural Midwest OT Cybersecurity Summit on Thursday, April 24, from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in AMU 227.
The event will bring together students, faculty, cybersecurity professionals and industry leaders for a day of learning, collaboration and hands-on experience focused on operational technology cybersecurity. Designed for attendees of all experience levels, the summit aims to strengthen the Midwest's cybersecurity ecosystem.
Participants will have opportunities to engage in hands-on hacking labs, attend expert-led sessions on operational and information technology cybersecurity, explore workforce development pathways, network with industry professionals and earn continuing professional education credits.
A keynote address will be delivered by representatives from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Additional participating organizations include Johnson Controls, Rockwell Automation, IBM, Exida, Sprocket Security, Irulast and MalkanSolutions.
