WASHINGTON - Last night, U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) spoke to Louisiana State University's Turning Point USA chapter. He honored the memory of its organization's founder, Charlie Kirk, and pledged to keep advancing conservative values in Washington.
"Charlie Kirk inspired students to defend freedom, faith, and the values that America was built on," said Dr. Cassidy."It's up to us to carry that legacy forward in Louisiana and across America."
Cassidy was thanked for his attendance by Mr. Mark Schoeppel, Director of Recruitment and Outreach of the Turning Point USA chapter at Louisiana State University.
"We had a terrific time hosting Senator Cassidy at our meeting," said Mr. Schoeppel. "At a moment where discourse is invaluable, we greatly appreciate the Senator taking time to discuss crucial issues with constituents and young conservatives."
