COLUMBUS - The Ohio Jewish Caucus today announced the passage of Senate Bill (SB) 450, the state's biennial capital appropriations budget. The bill allocates nearly $4B for the maintenance, renovation, and construction of state-owned infrastructure, including colleges, universities, school districts, and other community projects.
"This funding represents an important investment not only in Ohio's Jewish communities, but also in the organizations that enrich Jewish life while serving as vital partners to people of all backgrounds," said the Ohio Jewish Caucus. "From social services, cultural programming, and Holocaust education, these institutions strengthen communities, preserve important lessons from history, and bring people together. These dollars will help ensure our communities can continue making a meaningful, lasting impact on Ohioans for generations to come."
