LIBERTY COUNTY...
New US 84 Signal Activation Sept. 3 in Flemington
HINESVILLE, GA - Georgia Department of Transportation (DOT) announces Wednesday, September 3 activation of a new signalized intersection on US 84 at Flemington Village Boulevard in the City of Flemington in Liberty County.

A developer under a Commercial Driveway Permit has installed and bagged traffic signals and modify the median to improve mobility and safety at this busy intersection. Message boards are in place to alert motorists to this new traffic signal location and activation date. This signal activation is weather contingent and subject to change.

Motorists are reminded to pay special attention to traffic control devices, signs and posted speed limits as drivers become acclimated to the new signal location.

Advisory: Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, stay alert, and watch for workers. Before heading out, get real-time information on work status and traffic conditions. Call 511, visit 511ga.org, or download the Georgia 511 app.
