Samsung Wallet Integrates MARTA Breeze Card

Samsung Electronics America today announced that Samsung Wallet will now support the MARTA Breeze card transit card service used in the Atlanta metropolitan area.1

The MARTA Breeze card, a virtual transit card that can be widely used in the Atlanta metropolitan area, will now integrate seamlessly into Samsung Wallet to provide an enhanced user experience. Users with regional passes, including CobbLinc, Ride Gwinnett, Connect Douglas, and ATL Xpress can also add their passes to Samsung Wallet.

With this integration, users can directly issue or digitize a MARTA Breeze card from Samsung Wallet to easily access their transit card service from any Galaxy smartphone compatible with the latest version of Samsung Wallet.

How it works

Setting up a MARTA Breeze transit card service on your Galaxy device is simple:

  • Go to Samsung Wallet > All > Transit > Add Transit
  • Search 'Breeze' and select
    • To digitize an existing physical card: Add 'Breeze' > Transfer physical card to enter details
  • Choose the option you want to purchase and either issue a card or purchase regional passes
  • Agree to 'Terms and Conditions' and make your purchase
  • Once purchased, the card will be available in the Quick Access tab or My Wallet section

Once users integrate a MARTA Breeze card to Samsung Wallet, they will also have the ability to add money to their MARTA Breeze card with ease:

  • Simply click the 'Top up' button from Quick Access or the Card detail page
  • Type the value you want to add and click 'Next'
  • Select a credit or debit card to make payment and complete the process2

To ride

  • No need to unlock your smart device. Just tap it on a faregate or orange validator

Samsung is committed to user safety and security across devices and features, and the same is true of this integration. Users will be able to view card and pass details in Samsung Wallet, including card number, remaining balance, and transaction history to keep tabs on anything associated with their account. Users will also be able to back up their MARTA Breeze card, should they need to transfer it to another Galaxy device, with options to delete and restore their cards as needed.

Samsung Wallet is built as an easy-to-use, secure platform that helps Galaxy users organize everyday essentials. With a refined interface and seamless access, Samsung Wallet is designed to keep what users need within reach while supporting an open ecosystem through trusted partner integrations that expand user experiences over time.
