New European Social Dialogue Newsletter launched on the anniversary of the Pact to strengthen social dialogue

European Commission

Today marks the first anniversary of the Pact for European Social Dialogue, signed on 5 March 2025 by President von der Leyen and Executive Vice President Mînzatu on behalf of the European Commission, together with the European cross-industry social partners.

The pact aims to strenghten the role of social partners in shaping labour market policies, providing quality jobs, and enhancing social dialogue across Europe. To mark the occasion of this anniversary, the European Commission is launching the first edition of a new European Social Dialogue Newsletter, highlighting key developments in EU-level social dialogue throughout 2025.

The Newsletter has been prepared with the support of the Network for Analysis and Promotion of EU Social Dialogue, funded by the European Commission and managed by Eurofound. It will be published twice a year.
