Graves Affirms Commitment to Moving ALERT Act Amid Continued Work with Safety Advocates

Washington, DC -- Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Sam Graves (R-MO) released the following statement regarding plans to move H.R. 7613, the Airspace Location and Enhanced Risk Transparency (ALERT) Act of 2026:

"The Transportation and Infrastructure Committee remains committed to moving the ALERT Act as expeditiously as possible in the next few weeks. We continue to work with the accident victims' families, the NTSB, the aviation community, and our House colleagues. Our ultimate goal is to incorporate feedback from all those concerned and reach an agreement with the Senate to address the causes of the accident and improve the safety of our aviation system."
