Pinal County Scam Warning

Pinal County has been made aware of a sophisticated scam targeting applicants who are currently working through the planning and zoning process with Development Services.

Emails have been sent to some applicants, purporting to be from Planning Manager Harvey Krauss, requesting payments totaling thousands of dollars for 'Application Approval Fees.' Invoices feature the Pinal County logo and specific application information to make them look genuine.

The emails have all been sent from [email protected], which is not a genuine Pinal County email address.

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office and Pinal County Attorney's Office have been made aware and have begun an investigation.
