Eli Young Band and Randy Rogers Band to headline Lewisville Western Days

The City of Lewisville is proud to announce Eli Young Band and Randy Rogers Band as the headliners for the annual Western Days festival to be held Sept. 25-26 in Old Town Lewisville.

Eli Young Band will be the featured act on Friday night, taking the Republic Services Main Stage at 10 p.m. This is a special stop on the band's "Keep on Dreaming" tour in support of its Strange Hours album, as the band was the headline act at Western Days in 2016.

The Eli Young Band got its start in 2000 at the University of North Texas when roommates Mike Eli and James Young formed the acoustic band "Eli & Young". Through the years, the band has achieved nationwide success and garnered many prestigious nominations and awards.

Videos of their performance from 2016 can be seen on the City of Lewisville YouTube channel.

Saturday's headliner will be Randy Rogers Band, closing out the weekend festival at 10 p.m. on the Republic Services Main Stage.

This is the fourth time the Randy Rogers Band has been a headliner at Western Days, having performed here in 2022, 2018, and 2017. The band formed in 2000 in San Marcos and burst onto the scene with its debut album, Live at Cheatham Street Warehouse. The band is a unique brotherhood fueled by a shared passion for making great music and strong commitment to each other.

Randy Rogers Band is touring in support of its new EP, The Going, a masterful collection of music that shows the iconic group elevating their sound while maintaining the traditionalism that has made them one of the leading musical acts out of Texas for more than 20 years.

Videos of their performances in 2022, 2018, and 2017 can be found on the City of Lewisville YouTube channel.
