Kanaha Beach Park, adjoining roadways of Amala Place and Ka?a Street to temporarily close July 17-18
Kanahā Beach Park in Kahului and the adjoining roadways of Amala Place and Kaʻa Street will be temporarily closed on Thursday, July 17, and Friday, July 18, 2025. The County of Maui will be removing abandoned vehicles and performing maintenance and cleanup in the area. Heavy equipment and crews are expected to be conducting work throughout the two days. Access to the park, Amala Place and Kaʻa Street will be blocked off, and pedestrian and vehicle traffic will be restricted. The park and roadways will reopen on Saturday, July 19.
