The neighbours of Netflix's Chumbak Colony are back — Part 2 premieres October 1

On September 10, Netflix welcomed audiences into a vibrant colony filled with warmth, mayhem, laughter, and unforgettable characters. From Hats Off Production , written and directed by Aatish Kapadia and produced alongside Jamnadas (JD) Majethia , this beloved neighbourhood comedy of interconnected families returns for Part 2! 8 fresh episodes of Chumbak will be available to stream on Netflix starting October 1.

The first part took audiences right into the heart of the colony, where one resident's problem snowballed into everyone's problem, and chaos ensued. The end of episode 8 left audiences with plenty of open-ended questions, no shortage of laugh-out-loud moments, and a warm dose of nostalgia for old neighbourhoods! Part 2 brings a fresh set of mix-ups to the colony, putting friendships to a hilarious test as the whole neighbourhood gets tangled up in it. Amid it all, Rajni and Kuku (Neena Gupta and Deven Bhojani) take it upon themselves to bring everyone back together - making for a wholesome, entertaining watch that's the perfect excuse to gather the whole family on the couch.

Making this show took me right back to my own childhood, to a time when neighbours were practically family, always in and out of each other's homes, always a little too involved in each other's business! That same warmth was there on our set too. Working with Aatish, JD, and this entire cast felt like being part of one big, joyful family, and we truly had the time of our lives making this show. Every family in this colony has their own story to tell, and Part 2 brings so much more of all of that. There is more madness, more heart, and yes, a lot more of Rajni's journey too. The stellar star cast-featuring Neena Gupta, Deven Bhojani, Arjun Bijlani, Helly Shah, Manasi Parekh, Sumeet Vyas, Sandeepa Dhar, Sumeet Raghavan, Anant V. Joshi, Amyra Dastur, Delnaaz Irani and Atul Kumar -is set to return as everyone continues poking into each other's business.
