Curious about a career with the City of Knoxville? You're invited to the City Career Fair on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, 2-6 p.m. at the Public Works Service Center, 3131 Morris Avenue.
Attendees of this open-house style event can speak directly to department representatives about full-time and part-time opportunities, as well as important details like pay, benefits, paid vacation, pension, work-life balance, and other aspects of working for City government.
Attendees will be able to fill out applications on site for open jobs, listed at
KnoxvilleTN.gov/Jobs.
Vehicles and equipment used by City departments will be stationed outside the Public Works Building so that guests can get a closer look at the work experience.
