Lane restrictions on Thickson Road North and Rossland Road East in Whitby

Whitby, Ontario - The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of ongoing construction and lane restrictions at the intersection of Thickson Road North (Regional Road 26) and Rossland Road East (Regional Road 28) in the Town of Whitby.

When: Ongoing until December. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Lane restrictions are in place at the intersection of Thickson Road North and Rossland Road East in Whitby.

Why: To safely remove existing traffic signals and lighting and add temporary signals and lighting in preparation for the reconstruction of Rossland Road East.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
