Cotality Launches Claude Connector to Deliver Trusted Property Intelligence in AI Workflows

Powered by the Cotality Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server, the new directory-listed connector enables enterprises across mortgage, real estate, insurance, and capital markets to ground Claude in verified property, climate, and market data.

IRVINE, Calif., October 12, 2026- Cotality™, a leading global property information, analytics, and data-enabled solutions provider, announced the launch of the Cotality Connector for Claude, a new integration powered by Cotality's MCP server, which embeds Cotality's trusted property intelligence directly into Anthropic's Claude AI environment. Listed and verified in the Claude directory, the native connector gives authorized enterprise users direct access to Cotality data and capabilities within Claude, allowing them to quickly enable the connector and begin using it in AI workflows without custom integrations or IT-led development.

As AI platforms become primary work interfaces for property professionals, domain-specific data increasingly determines the accuracy of generative AI outputs. Built on the open MCP standard, the Cotality connector acts as a governed bridge between Claude and Cotality's datasets. Business teams can now answer complex property questions and support agentic workflows using trusted property intelligence within Claude. For example, users can:

  • Ask questions like, "I'm looking to acquire a residential property in Dallas. What local market trends, valuations, and property details should I consider?"
  • Analyze portfolios by asking, "Across my portfolio, which markets are showing the strongest home price appreciation and lowest climate risk exposure?"
  • Power AI agents with trusted Cotality data to assess mortgage eligibility, validate property ownership and characteristics, and support underwriting decisions.

Whether it's a single property, a portfolio, or the broader market, a property professional working in Claude can now get trustworthy, Cotality-verified data - and make confident decisions on underwriting, risk, acquisitions, and more.

‍
At launch, the Cotality Connector provides access to key property data, subject to user licensing:

  • CLIP® (Cotality Integrated Property) ID: Cotality's persistent property identifier for accurately linking and resolvingproperty records.
  • Property Characteristics: Core property attributes, specifications, and physical details that provide essential property context.
  • Market Trends / Real Estate Analytics: MLS-aggregated market insights, including Listing Trends, Rental Trends, Home Price Index (HPI), and HPI Forecasts.
  • Climate Risk Analytics: Climate risk signals, environmental exposure metrics, and property-level details such as Age of Roof to support underwriting and risk workflows.
  • Property Valuation: Property value estimates from Total Home Valueˣ (THVˣ), tax assessor values, comparable property insights, and recency indicators.

"AI models excel at reasoning and synthesis, but enterprise decisions in property-centric industries require trusted, real-time, and domain-specific context," said Devi Mateti, President, Enterprise Digital Solutions at Cotality. "By bringing Cotality's property data directly into Claude through a connector powered by the Cotality MCP Server, we are reducing technical friction and helping our customers accelerate due diligence, market research, and risk analysis with answers grounded in the data they trust."

Driving Value Across the Property Lifecycle

The Cotality Connector for Claude addresses key friction points for organizations across mortgage, real estate, insurance, capital markets, and other property-centric industries by offering:

  • Faster decisioning: Portfolio analysts, underwriters, and other property professionals can ask natural-language questions directly in Claude and quickly find Cotality insights without searching across multiple portals.
  • Lower technical lift: Built on standardized MCP architecture, the connector reduces the need for IT teams to build or maintain custom integrations for AI access.
  • Governed and secure access: Cotality's underlying MCP Server enforces strict authentication, ensuring users only access data points they are explicitly licensed to use.
  • Enhanced AI relevance: Grounding Claude's outputs in verified property records significantly improves the accuracy of AI-assisted underwriting briefs, valuation research, and property risk screenings.
