DNC Statement on Georgia Hyundai Factory Immigration Raid Arrow
DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement in response to the immigration raid of South Korean workers on a Hyundai plant in Georgia:
"Last week, nearly 500 South Korean workers in Georgia were targeted by immigration authorities in a raid - including those who had legal authorization to work in the United States. The resulting fallout has ruptured relations with a key ally, chilled prospects for investment in American communities, and failed to advance public safety and the values that we share. Donald Trump's administration is sowing chaos, harming entire industries, and targeting the working communities that he baselessly claims to support."
