Oakland Township Water System Emergency Repair - Wynstone North and Wynstone South Subdivisions

A water system emergency repair within the water treatment plant that provides water to the Wynstone North and Wynstone South subdivisions in Oakland Township is scheduled for June 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Residents need to limit water use to only drinking water and toilet flushing during this time.

Resident cooperation will greatly increase the likelihood of the repair success. If the repair is successful, there will be no noticeable impact to the water system.

If the repair does not go as expected there will be a loss of pressure in the water system requiring a precautionary boil water advisory.
