Route OO in Cape Girardeau County Closed for Bridge Replacement
SIKESTON-Route OO in Cape Girardeau County will be closed as construction crews replace the bridge over Upper Whitewater Creek.
This section of roadway is located from County Road 365 to County Road 379.
Weather permitting, work is scheduled to begin Monday, Oct. 19 with completion anticipated Saturday, May 1, 2027. A signed detour will be in place.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
